Ho aj aj aj aj buff
Margit Holmberg's Trollmor in the lullaby "Ho aj aj aj aj buff" is perhaps the most famous troll in our hoods, the one who ties her loved ones together by the tail and rocks them to sleep. The words she sings and the movement she makes conjures sleep. The work Ho aj aj aj aj buff is a cradle woven together of all kinds of leftover and found textiles and fibers, tied by countless hands, which traveled between Accelerator konsthall, to the forest in Fogelstad säteri's grounds in Julita as part of Malin Arnell and Åsa Elzén's work The Forest calls – An endlessly contaminated collaboration or The dance is a form of forest knowledge; to Virserum's art gallery to finally land along the hiking path of Östgötaleden at Ormestorp's farm. "Ho aj aj aj aj buff" is tied to a fairy tale about the character Le Guin (based on Ursula K. Le Guin), which tells the story of the collector and container, not the conqueror.
